This was one of the first Micromilspec watches that I found and wasn’t going to do it. Something a bit odd about it, that I think makes it look a bit like a toy watch and nothing like there military style watches. Anyway through circumstance, I decided to include it in the series, as I spent a lot of time cleaning up and sharpening the face.
I thought this was the second last of the series, however I just found another, so only two to go.
This one was done for the Los Angeles County District Attorney – Bureau of Investigation (LADA-BOI)
Dark gray textured dial based on the Bureau of Investigation badge design. Protruding star with the DA Seal heraldry in chrome. Hour markers inspired by the badge edges. Custom designed hands with sharp and sleek shapes. Hour and minute hands with Super-Lumi Nova. Rotating 12-hour bezel with engraved markings and matte dark gray finish. Dial ring engraved with LADA-BOI and year of establishment.
Not drawn entirely from scratch in GIMP and assembled and coded in WatchMaker.
